At Revive initiatives, we care about our community. We run various activities, events and meet-ups that enrich the lives of the community Newham.

We are based in Manor Park where we operate a food bank, cook the community hot meals every Saturday 11am, conduct Youth mentoring, run a football club, conduct parenting classes and meet-ups and soon starting Advocacy due to the need in the community.

Advocacy

Revive Initiatives Grace Advocacy – Newham offers a free advocacy service which obligation, that has been specifically designed to help vulnerable adults who are struggling with multiple, complex problems. We work with our clients to stabilise their affairs, and can help with:

  • Money and debt;
  • Benefits;
  • Housing;
  • Adult Social Care;
  • NHS.

As advocates, we hand-hold our clients through the process of stabilising their lives. We will help them: navigate the bureaucracy, fill in the forms, defend their rights, challenge unfair decisions, deal with unaffordable debt and bills and find ways to get the care they need.

How we work

The RI Advocacy Team is the result of a partnership between Revive Initiatives and Grace Advocacy. All our advocates are volunteers from Revival House Church who benefit from the training, support, and resources of Grace Advocacy and are subject to its policies, procedures and management.

What you can expect

If there is an issue worrying you then book an appointment, and we will chat about it with you over a cup of tea. We might not have all the answers, but we will help you find them. Once a plan of action has been identified, we will help you to carry it out and achieve this in a reasonable time frame.

Harusi Project

The intention is to pass the traditions through reminiscence sessions, elders from the aforementioned communities will pass the traditions to the younger generations and the traditions will be archived in an audio/visual format.
